Verification methodology

How our decision logic is verified

Every pack in this library runs as real decision logic, not just documentation describing what should happen.

Before a pack ships, its decision tables are checked three ways. First, every combination of answers to every decision table is run, to confirm each one returns exactly one result and that a missing, misspelled or unexpected answer is never treated as a pass. Second, the tables are run on a widely used commercial-grade DMN engine, the kind your own team is likely to load them into. Third, they are cross-checked on two further independent engines. The October 2026 release was checked on 15,140 test cases per engine, missing and malformed answers included, and every engine reached the conclusion the pack says it will.

What this does and doesn't mean

This isn't a legal compliance certificate. It confirms the logic behaves exactly as documented when a machine runs it, not just when a person reads it.

What you'll see on each pack

Every pack now carries the "Logic independently verified" badge: all 92 decision tables pass on every engine. The check confirms the logic. It doesn't confirm that a pattern's governance judgement suits your organisation, or that a particular platform set-up works in your tenant. Those stay with your own review.
