1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern your purchase and use of AI agent governance patterns and related materials ("the Content") from OutTheBox.ai ("OutTheBox," "we," "us"). By purchasing or downloading Content from this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not purchase or use the Content.
2. What We Sell
OutTheBox sells pre-built AI agent governance patterns: narrative guidance, decision tables (DMN), worked examples, configuration templates, and buyer reference documents, delivered as digital files. This is a one-time content purchase, not a subscription, membership, or managed service. We do not operate, host, or monitor your AI agents — the Content is guidance and configuration material for you to implement in your own environment.
3. Licence to Use
When you purchase Content from OutTheBox, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use that Content within your own organisation. Specifically, you may:
- Use, adapt, and configure the Content for your organisation's own AI governance purposes
- Make internal copies for your own teams' use
You may not, without our prior written consent:
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Content, in whole or in part, to third parties
- Publish or share the Content publicly in a way that makes it available to non-purchasers
- Use the Content to create a directly competing product or pattern library
4. Pricing, Payment, and VAT
Prices are shown at the point of purchase. Payment is taken in full before Content is delivered.
About Sales Tax (VAT)
- Displayed prices include applicable VAT where relevant
- We'll clearly show the VAT amount on your invoice
- If you're a business with a valid VAT number, reverse charge may apply in certain jurisdictions
- Please provide your correct VAT number at checkout if you have one
- If you're outside the UK/EU, different tax rules may apply based on your country
- We recommend consulting a tax adviser for any specific tax questions
5. Refunds
Because this is digital content that is available to download immediately on purchase, we are generally unable to offer refunds once files have been delivered. If you believe there's a problem with what you received — for example, a file is corrupted or materially different from its description — contact us at contact@outthebox.ai and we'll work with you to resolve it. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer in your jurisdiction.
6. Privacy
We collect the information needed to process your order and deliver Content — typically your name, email address, and payment details (handled by our payment processor, not stored by us directly). We don't sell your data to third parties. For questions about your data, contact contact@outthebox.ai.
7. Intellectual Property
All Content — including narratives, decision tables, templates, and buyer documents — is authored by and remains the intellectual property of OutTheBox. Purchasing Content grants you the licence described in Section 3; it does not transfer ownership or copyright to you.
8. Not Legal or Compliance Advice
OutTheBox Content is practitioner guidance to help you design and implement AI agent governance controls. It is not legal advice, and using it does not guarantee compliance with the EU AI Act or any other law or regulation. You should seek independent legal advice on your specific regulatory obligations.
