Infrastructure decisions, governed

Pre-Deployment Gates

Rent or own, which model handles a request, and where any of it is allowed to run. Four gates for the infrastructure decisions behind an agentic AI workload.

Four governance patternsLogic independently verifiedWorks on any platformCovers rent-vs-own, routing, and hosting

Who this pack is for

An infrastructure or platform governance owner, an engineering director, or a risk lead accountable for how infrastructure decisions get made for agentic AI workloads. This is the pack for organisations past "we approved the agent" and into "we approved the infrastructure it runs on, on purpose, with a paper trail."

Applies whether a workload ends up rented or owned

A rented API call and an owned deployment can both fail these gates if the decision behind them was never made deliberately.

What's in the pack

All four gates are built so missing or unclear information blocks the result rather than quietly passing it, and three were tested against all 243 possible input combinations each. Set it up once. After that, the Agent 365 artefacts plug straight into how you review each new infrastructure decision, now and in the future.

Infrastructure Ownership Threshold Gate

Decides whether a sustained workload should still be rented, or has earned dedicated owned infrastructure. Compliance and strategic exposure are checked before the economic crossover.

Architecture Decision Gate for Infrastructure Choices

Decides whether an infrastructure choice, for any category, was made deliberately with alternatives considered and a second reviewer, or defaulted to whatever was easiest to procure.

Model Routing Provenance Gate

Decides whether rented-model routing is defensible, resilient, and traceable: incident posture, per-request provenance, and provider regulatory exposure, resolved to one governing outcome.

Sovereign Hosting Consideration Gate

Decides whether hosting jurisdiction has actually been considered, tested, and signed off, separate from which model or vendor is chosen.

What this pack explicitly does not do

Does not compute any of the numbers its gates depend on, the rent-vs-own economic crossover, an approved pattern's parameters, or an evaluation suite's pass bar are all buyer-supplied inputs. Does not implement monitoring, logging, incident-response, or evaluation infrastructure itself, each pattern confirms the right evidence exists and defines what it should say. Does not replace legal, regulatory, or technical architecture review, these gates force the right question to be asked at the right point, they don't perform the underlying analysis.
